It infers one of two things. Either that without the punctuation most of Dalston would assume that's how you spell Alone anyway, rendering the line meaningless and just a shit bit of copy. Or two, that they're so insecure about the monumental shitness of the pun, they have to dress it up in inverted commas to make it even more glaringly obvious than it is already - pretty difficult - that it is a pun, and not just a typo.
Either way it's some ballsy shit.
